13 WAYS TO IMPRESS A GOOD WOMAN

I’ve met men who violate all of these. I’d be more impressed if men started to give advice to other men on how to be men/kings.

It seems that it’s more profitable as a relationship expert to tell women, especially Black women, what needs to be changed. It’s pervasive and it perpetuates oppressive relationship dynamic. Here are a few tips for a response viral article dedicated to men:

1. Stop expecting a woman to be interested or respond if you don’t practice chivalry and if you don’t ask for a proper date/only communicate via text/social media;

2. Pressing a woman for sex immediately and/or without commitment shows you’re not a gentleman and lack restraint;

3. Only talking about yourself or not taking interest in topics she likes will push her away;

4. Actually come up with date ideas and stop relying on her;

5. Don’t believe that you should get “keys to the back door” or you are the one who should bring out her inner stripper;

6. Never initiating church or prayer together is a red flag;

7. Always hanging out or taking international trips with your boys at 40 or older is immature and a turn off;

8. Not publicly acknowledging her as your girlfriend, or setting boundaries with your female friends is inappropriate;

9. Just because you have an advanced degree and six figure income doesn’t make you the “prize”;

10. No woman likes walking into a room to discover you’ve previously
tried to holler at everyone;

11. Over 40 and never married claiming you “just couldn’t find the one” translates to your noncommittal and underdeveloped emotionally;

12. Selfishness and lack of romance will get you nowhere;

13. Get over it and process the first woman that hurt you; stop holding women in her successors accountable;

SUMMARY it’s 2014 and not all about you. Solid Biblical teaching still stands: it is a good thing to find a wife; posturing as a ladies’ man, or trying to find yourself through rotating several women, and dishonesty with women is unbecoming. What’s impressive is leading by demonstrating the things you want, respect and honor all women in your quest for
a wife.
